Traditional Braces

You can always trust traditional braces to fix things when it comes to misaligned smiles. Dr. Mason uses these metal brackets and wires to correct crooked, crowded, or gapped teeth. You’ll get good results, too – these braces are both cost-effective and a tried-and-true orthodontic solution.

Invisalign

If you’re an adult who doesn’t want a “metal mouth,” regular braces may not be ideal. That’s okay, though, as you can always get Invisalign! These clear aligners will subtly and comfortably align your smile. As such, you’ll not only get to maintain confidence during treatment but also finish faster than with metal braces.

Invisalign Teen

Of course, Invisalign doesn’t just help grown-ups; even teens can benefit from it. After all, clear aligners are nearly invisible, fit comfortably, and can be removed at any time. They’re perfect, then, for image-conscious kids who want dazzlingly straight grins.

Self-Ligating Braces

Unlike traditional braces, self-ligating ones hold wires in place with their own brackets. Consequently, they tend to put less strain on teeth and align them more efficiently. The team at Columbus Orthodontic Center relies on the Empower system for this approach, forgoing the need for elastic bands or tightening.

Hidden Braces

While standard braces are put on the fronts of teeth, hidden braces are placed on the backs. These latter kinds, therefore, are great for adults who want straighter teeth without appearance changes. Our office uses the Incognito brand of lingual braces, which can be fully customized for every patient.

Clear Braces

Instead of metal, clear braces rely on a clear ceramic material. Even its wires can be tooth-colored, making this appliance almost invisible when worn. Usually, these braces work best for those wishing to straighten their teeth without feeling self-conscious.

Phase 1 Orthodontic Treatment

Also known as early interceptive work, Phase 1 orthodontic treatment addresses smile issues in young children. Namely, it attempts to correct misalignments and similar matters in kids under age 7. That way, dentists can treat minor problems before they get more complicated later.

Surgical Treatment

Our practice offers jaw surgery through coordination with a local surgeon. Typically, dentists perform it to correct injuries and abnormalities in the jaw bones and teeth. Often enough, a surgeon will perform such treatment along with orthodontic work to improve a patient’s oral health.

Accelerated Orthodontics

Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (AOO) is an approach that reduces the time to align crooked or misshapen teeth properly. It uses devices like AcceleDent and the Propel VPRO5 to speed up the remodeling of your smile’s bone tissue. Generally, it’s best done for patients who lack bone or gum support to undergo traditional treatments.
