Welcome to the Columbus Orthodontic Center! When you come in for your first visit, we’ll make you feel like you’ve been with us for years. You’ll be greeted by a member of our team who will quickly help you organize your paperwork (whether you’ve completed it beforehand or in the office), and then you’ll be escorted to have some routine x-rays taken of your teeth and mouth. You’ll then be led into a private consultation room where we’ll take photos of your smile.
You’ll then get to meet Dr. Amin Mason, who will perform a comprehensive oral exam. After reviewing his observations and your x-rays, he’ll discuss all of your potential treatment options. We’ll then let you know about the estimated fees, insurance coverage, and treatment time for each one. We can also discuss financing plans as well. Once you have had a chance to ask all of the questions you like, you’ll be accompanied to the front desk where our treatment coordinator will help you schedule your next appointment.

If your dental insurance covers orthodontic treatment, we will happily accept your plan. Insurance plans and benefits vary greatly, so be sure to review your policy before coming to see us. If you need any assistance understanding your plan, you can always call us and we’ll go over it with you. It is also important to know that many policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. Should your benefits change during the course of your treatment, you will be responsible for any additional charges.
