Dr. Amin Mason

As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Mason is passionate about using his impressive education, advanced training, and years of experience to help patients near and far achieve the smiles of their dreams.

Dr. Mason’s studies began at The Ohio State University, where he majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Next, he attended The Ohio State College of Dentistry before completing a 1-year craniofacial research fellowship at the University of Kentucky. However, his pursuit of knowledge didn’t end there. He went on to earn his certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Colorado before coming back to Ohio to open his own practice.

Although Dr. Mason’s educational background is impressive alone, his awards are equally as noteworthy. In addition to being a recipient of The Ohio State College of Dentistry Recognition Award, he was inducted into the OKU Dental Honor Society as well as the TBP Engineering Honor Society. Furthermore, he was the winner of the AADR/NIDCR Bloc Travel Grant.

Plus, Dr. Mason dedicates his time outside the office to staying up to date on the latest dental technology and techniques. Currently, he is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and more. Furthermore, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

In his free time, Dr. Mason enjoys staying active with weightlifting and strength training. He also likes to travel, cook, and, of course, keep up with the latest in the world of orthodontics.

You Asked, We Answered!

If you want to learn more about braces, you’ll be happy to know that you’re in the right place! To help make finding the answers you’re looking for as easy as possible, we’ve answered some FAQs from patients right here. Of course, if you have a specific question on your mind, you’re welcome to get in touch with our team directly via our website or by phone.

What do you do if you can't afford an orthodontist?

If you think that braces won’t fit into your budget, you may be pleasantly surprised. After all, our team offers several ways to save! To begin, we welcome dental insurance. Since orthodontic benefits are different than preventive and restorative coverage, you may have some questions. Don’t worry – we will do our part to make understanding the cost and your benefits easy. If you don’t have dental insurance, that’s okay too. We happily accept CareCredit, a trusted third-party financier that allows you to space out your payments into manageable monthly chunks. If you want to learn more about your financial options, don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team!

What do I do if I have an orthodontic emergency?

Orthodontic emergencies are fairly uncommon. However, if you do experience one, then do your best to calmly assess the damage. If you’ve lost a bracket, broken a wire, or misplaced your aligner, then give our team a call. It’s the fastest way to get help. Over the phone, we can learn more about your situation and guide you through the next best steps. We offer morning, lunchtime, and afternoon hours throughout the week too, increasing the chances of us being able to provide treatment the very same day.

Note: you should only visit the ER if your orthodontic emergency has resulted in a potentially life-threatening condition, like uncontrollable bleeding, difficulty swallowing, or a fractured jaw. Since hospitals typically don’t have orthodontists on staff, the best way to get your braces fixed is by visiting your orthodontist.

How do I find the best place to get braces?

If you’re interested in getting braces but are unsure where to start, then begin by asking your friends and family for referrals. Or, you can search “orthodontist near me” on Google for a list of providers in your area. Of course, not everyone has the same level of training or years of experience. That’s why it’s so important that you take the time to read through the websites and learn more about their team.

Our top-rated orthodontic office is led by board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Amin Mason. In addition to being highly trained and talented, he is kind and passionate about helping patients truly smile. If you want to learn more about him, his bio is on our website!
